Monitored Alarm Response
Alarm monitoring is the means by which your security or fire alarm system contacts the emergency services and/or your designated keyholders.
If your alarm is activated at your premises, an alarm signal is sent to our Alarm Receiving Centre (ARC) via your telephone line or other suitable transmission path.
Our alarm receiving centre will validate the alarm signal and if necessary inform the relevant emergency service, who will then attend your property.
- Intruder/panic alarm – contact the police
- Fire alarm – contact the fire brigade
- Medical assistance – contact one of your key holders
- In all instances the alarm receiving centre will contact you, or your designated key-holders
Monitored alarm response is an significant and important upgrade to your alarm system, and an enhancement to your security and safety.
For most businesses monitored alarm response will be a requirement of their insurers.
